homework 79: PLAN A TENT
I started with some deep thinking & planning in my notebook ...
week 12: ROAD TO NOWHERE
and then 'translated' these notes into this plan ...
Now it was time to collect all the 'tools and ingredients'so that I could start on this fun task!
homework 80: BUILD A TENT
Well, the assembling of my tents components went very smoothly ...
and resulted in this.
Here is a frontview of my tent ...
The roofwindow makes it possible to catch daylight in the tent without having to open the door.
An important improvement to my own tent is the back door this tent has. It allows for more privacy, better ventilation, easier cleaning.
The front door doesn't open midway, as I always hate it that all the tenttraffic goes via the middlepath. You can enter the tent from both sides when the vent is down and when the vent is up the whole front is free ...
Here is a sideview.
The vent is held up by skewers that fit into the bottom strawers.
The roof window cannot be opened as that would make it next to impossible to make my tent waterproof.
homework 82: STARGAZER
It's nighttime now, the camping is silent, all tents are closed and apart from an occassional roll of toilet paper the field is clean.
Our couple's tent is lit by the moon, which enables him to read his very boring book.
Okay, I admit: I have put a small bicycle light in the back of the tent
And yes, I had them starring on my Sacher torte (homework 26) as well

My favourite adventurous couple from Grant Wood's painting American gothic (1930) went camping.
It's very early in the morning ...
My couple wakes up ... pretty soon they leave their sleeping bags to really start this beautiful new day ...
he really needs to go certain place ... when he returns she is already busy with their laundry ...
